Dr Robert Selkin Laser? Think Twice

Ever have a thought that you would like to go through life without glasses???? Well that was what I thought.... This Doctor at Selkin Laser did mono vision surgery ( this is corrective vision for near and far sighted vision) to correct the far sighted vision in my right eye and corrective laser surgery to the left eye to improve my distance vision....After three day out from the laser surgery I developed an infection that has all be destroyed the vision in my left eye...I am now stuck with the the realization that I will have to wear glasses from now on....My vision now in my left eye is 3 times worse than before I had the surgery.....After 1000s of dollars in doctor bills ...I will never be able to see as I once did...This so called doctor in supposed good faith promised that he would pay all my out of pocket expenses....Although he did pay for part of the expenses at first, he tried to get me to sign a release...From any addition expenses I incurred...It has been a year and I haven't seen anything....Good Faith????? What a joke.... You know the saying you get what you pay for ....I got the lose of an eye ???? Something that will only be corrected by a corneal transplant....A procedure that has no guarantee of improvement in vision.....I recently talked with a friend from work in Kingsport Tn that 60 to 70% of people that have had vision correction surgery have had to go to another vision correction center to repair damage that was done by this so called vision expert.....Check his web sight....What you get is cheap shoddy service with a good dose of infections and botched vision.....It is wonderful that I have to wear glasses just to drive or watch TV...It is such a big joy to try to focus in the morning ....By 9 o'clock at nite I have to go to bed because my eyes are so weak....It is absolutely wonderful.....Still thinking about having it done ????? Contact the Better Business Bureau and see what his track record is....
